I drove from Michigan to Virginia throughout a heavy winter storm. When I got home, the bag was totally caked in salt and ice but the contents remained dry.

I purchased this bag to use on a trip over the Rocky Mtns. It worked phenomenal within the sense that it was Waterproof, traveling via heavy snow, and an occasional rain storm. I would certainly reccomend this product if anyone is searching for an inexpensive cargo bag and a piece of mind that all of your stuff will be dry upon arrival. The straps could be a little much more user friendly within the aspect of maybe a velcro piece at the end to connect with the excess left after pulling tight rather than having to tie avoiding flapping within the wind. All in all, we handled that situation with sticky back velcro and it works Fantastic.

We drove 500 miles in rain, sleet, and snow and not a single item within the bag got wet. It withstood 80+ MPH speeds and just about all from the winter elements. You will find other comments concerning the ends of the tie downs flapping, which is true, but a stop at your local hardware store will fix that issue. We stopped at House Depot and bought velcro straps that fit the bill just perfect. We coiled up the end of the tie downs, wound the velcro strap close to them and had been down the road in about 15 minutes, such as the buy time in House Depot.

The bag folds up nicely for easy storage and holds a lot of cargo when in use. We placed 5 big duffle bags and all of our winter snow gear within the bag and still had a little room left over. It mounted on the roof rack of our suburban nicely. If you are looking for any reasonably priced, high performing roof best cargo carrier, I would highly suggest this one.
